How time flies

Friends of mine celebrated their 1st anniversary last July (my goodness, I will soon be making one for their 2nd anniversary!)  Their story is a true love story (see here)

I wanted my design to show some sort of “togetherness”, so once again I pulled out my trusted Sizzix Bigz teddy die (655360). Both bears were shaded with Copics.

Father’s Day

Last Fathers’s Day saw me stumped for inspiration – it shouldn’t have been a problem:  I had new papers to play around with; various stamps & techniques to use but nothing seemed to inspire me.  After a rather tiresome shopping trip with DH to buy new shirts, it dawned on me that I would make shirts for the cards this year. 

The green one was for my FIL and the pink for DH

Too long

After much persuasion and lobbying by my very loyal blog readers, I have decided to re-start the blog

  

So here goes:

I love making new baby cards – such a special celebration.

This was made using my lovely Sizzix Bigz Teddy Bear die (655360).  I cut 2 teddy bears – one from brown card & one from blue.  The teddy die cuts were shaded using Copics.  The baby’s bottle is a Sizzlits die from the doodle baby set (38-9622).  I made the banner from patterned paper, using die cut letters for the name and washi tape to hold the banner together.  The addition of the “Welcome To The World” ribbon finished the card.
