It is so nice to celebrate an engagement and what better way to do it than with a unique handmade card.
I couldn’t find the right colour card, so I coloured my own with Promarkers.
I then used this to cut with my Marianne Design Collectables Cats die (COL 1344)
The letters were coloured using Promarkers.
The banner was strung with embroidery thread.
I used the Precious Marieke die #PMI0027 Filigree heart from the romance collection.
I embossed a pearly white card blank with Crafts Unlimited Embossing Folder Hearts (#4954012). The ‘LOVE’ was cut once in white card and once in red (for the heart).
I made a 3d heart (from 3 die cut hearts) for the inside of the card.
A simple but effective card. . . .
the cup was coloured using Promarkers. I had a strange one though, I placed a heart on the coloured cup for safe keeping and when I removed it I was left with a slightly lighter coloured heart impression. I’m not sure I could repeat that effect. The hearts were cut in to the white square and mounted on the card blank with foam pads.
