The food shopping is done, DH and DS have finished work/school and all that remains is to ice the Christmas cake, make the Yule log and the brandy butter (enough to be getting on with I know). The turkey is defrosting nicely, the mince pies are made and I am looking forward to seeing our friends this evening.
Yesterday I finally got around to finishing our Christmas crackers. Having left them to the last minute I was a bit worried about how they would turn out – I hate having to do a rush job!
I am quite pleased with the result, though had I had more time, I would have liked to have added some decoration.
