Over the years I have had many light boxes, none of them have lasted very long; some have simply been dangerous (burn marks on my cutting mat to remind me).
This Christmas we received a lovely boxed wine set and as soon as I saw the box, the crafter in me said “don’t get rid of the box, I can use it”, much to the amusement of my DH.

I emptied the box (no, we haven’t drunk the wine yet!) and gave the edges a quick sand.

I added some felt feet to the bottom, to stop it scratching the table . . . .

. . . . . . added some LED lights and  now I have a new light box!
